Many Christians have been fooled into believing a doctrine that neither the Lord Jesus nor His apostles ever taught. A mini-reformation is needed. The pernicious doctrine entered Christian thought 1800 years ago, and, to use Jude's language, crept into the Church "unawares." The Lord's brother wrote that we "should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (v.3). This Platonic poison entered the stream of Christian thought centuries ago, and the "Church Father" Tertullian explicitly endorsed Plato's false doctrine. Out of love for the Lord Jesus, however, let us correct this error by translating Greek and Hebrew words correctly.
