Statement of Faith: Pastors of CR Ministries—Nepal affirm classic doctrines of Christianity. For example, they believe God is Tri-Personal (Triune) and that believers may be baptized in the Name (singular) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Below, you may see two CR Ministries—Nepal pastors baptizing a believer, one being Raju.

The Bible is the authority on doctrine. It is comprised of 66 books and is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). There were many human authors, and all were inspired by God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was and is the Messiah promised throughout the Old Testament and is Himself God-in-human-flesh.
He was born of Mary, who was at the time of His birth a virgin. Joseph was Jesus’ legal father but not His biological one.

Adam and Eve, our first parents, disobeyed the Lord God; they fell into sin, with deadly consequences on them and on all their descendants. All today are born sinners, and each person born shows that he/she is indeed a child of disobedience. Excluding the Lord Jesus, all men, women,
boys, and girls need salvation from sin and regeneration by the Holy spirit. [Below is a gathering of Nepali people to hear the Word of God. Indra graciously used his car to transport Pastors Raju and Paul.]

Continuing with the Statement of Faith: Christ Jesus’ death on the cross was substitutionary. He died to save those who would entrust their entire
beings to His saving mercy. They are justified not by their own merits (which are nil) but solely on the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ. In short, Jesus
took the filth of our sin upon Himself (on the cross) and gives His Perfect Robe of Righteousness to those who believe in Him (cf. Isaiah 61:10 & Jeremiah 23:6). [Notice below the centrality of the cross in this newly constructed (2020) place for Christian worship.]

Baptism should be administered to those who profess faith in Jesus, and immersion is a fitting mode, symbolizing identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. Believers should remember the Lord’s death for them while observing Communion, the Lord's Supper. The Lord Jesus will return bodily for His People. All humans who have ever lived on this earth (and subsequently died) will be raised from death to appear before Jesus. Those still alive at His return will also appear before Him. All humanity will then be separated into two groups, the saved and the wicked (Matthew 25:31f and John 5:28-29). The saved will enjoy unending bliss with King Jesus in the New Heaven and New Earth. The wicked will receive proportional punishments according to their works (Luke 12:47-48) and eventual cessation (Matthew 10:28).

Training: Since some pastors in Nepali regions do not have the funds to receive formal training in the Bible, some lessons are here provided for their edification and preparations. Many other resources are available free on the CR Ministries website—including a full Bible (via download).

The overarching theme of the following lessons is MESSIAH JESUS, CREATOR CHRIST, GOD in HUMAN FLESH, PERFECT MAN, and RISEN SAVIOR. Each lesson features HIM, the focus of all Christianity. The Apostle John wrote about his Gospel, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31). In John 17:3, Jesus Himself prayed, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”

Lesson 1    Question—while looking up into the clouds, have you ever wondered why you can’t see God? Three passages from the Bible may help:

JOHN 1:18: “No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.” This is a very important verse for several reasons. First, human minds like ours can’t “see” God in all His majesty. In the early part of the Bible (Old Testament), Moses saw part of Yahweh, but not all of Him (Exodus 33:18-23). Whenever the Scriptures talk about “seeing God”, therefore (e.g. Genesis 32:30, Judges 13:22, and Isaiah 6:5), it is often in a limited way. Later in the Bible, a follower of Jesus named John spoke of beholding the glory of the Lord Jesus (John 1:14), and he even fell at Jesus’ feet “as though dead” on seeing the “glorified” Christ (cf. Revelation 1:17) after He was raised from the dead.

JOHN 14:9-11: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, `Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.” What person who is merely created could say, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father?” The Lord Jesus could say these things about Himself, because He was (and still is) God the Son, the Second “Person” of the Tri-Unity.

COLOSSIANS 1:15‑17: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” These verses say that Jesus is the invisible God who became visible (God’s “face” in Isaiah 63:9). The statement that He is “the firstborn over all creation” is like Hebrews 1:2 where it is says that He has been “appointed heir of all things.” The right of the firstborn is something told over and over again in the Bible, and this verse says that it belongs to Jesus, but this does not mean that He had a beginning or was created, because the very next verses tell us clearly that He Himself is the very One who created all things and who existed before everything was even made.

<Dear Lord Jesus. I didn’t know You were so great. I didn’t know You made me. I didn’t know You came to this earth to save people like me. I’m sorry for all my bad things, and I ask You to save me from hell and to clean me up from all my sins. Thank You for dying on the cross. Please be the best friend all my life. Help me to worship and love You now, and I look forward to being with You forever in heaven.>
